General Description from the TICA website
The Donskoy is in a class of its own. It is a highly intelligent, beautiful loving cat that looks directly into your eyes and seems to penetrate your very soul. These beautiful hairless cats remind you of extra terrestrials coming from the outer universe. Their appearance is characterized by magic harmony and their wrinkles give them an extraordinary old wizened look. If you can imagine the head of ET with long shell type ears, almond-shaped eyes that make you believe in the transmigration of a Bastet Goddess Ghost, the scruff of a giraffe, a small belly of a piglet, the tail of the Rats` King from The Nutcracker, small webbed toys of a monkey all wrapped up in into a leather or suede vestment with numerous wrinkles - you will get the surrealistic image of the enigmatic Donskoy.
If you are looking for a cat that loves to be will you all the time (especially if you are in bed under covers), runs to the door to greet you when you get home and gallops around your house like a herd of stampeding elephants then consider a Donskoy.
Coat styles
There are four different coat styles. Rubber bald, Flocked, Velour and Brush. However I frequently see some variation in each coat, so don't be surprised if your totally hairless cat grows a fuzzy spot or if your fuzzy cat loses lots of hair.

Rubber bald
These cats will have no hair, occasional you will see broken random whiskers. The skin texture will be slightly sticky and very smooth. These cat will require the most skin care.

Flocked
They have a peach fuzz coat, with a varying amount of visibility. My first boy came to me as a four month old with inch long fuzz on his legs and tail with a very fine coat on his body. Now at three years old his hair is practically invisible unless you look really closely at his feet. They feel like a suede hot water bottle, very smooth and soft.

Velour Coat
This cats start out as fuzz balls and over the course of a couple years lose hair. The end result is a little all over the place. The general tendency is to go down to a very short fuzz on the trunk of the body, with wispy fur left on the tail and legs. I have seen a LOT of different coats though, so if you get one of these kittens you will have to watch and see what you get as your cat ages. These cats have a very low maintenance coats, needing baths rarely, but still need regular ear and nail upkeep.

Brush Coat
Will retain the most amount of hair.
